Three helpful tips for completing the Applicant online application...

  1. Relax! The hard part is done - you have found your dream apartment. Now there's just a little bit of routine paperwork to complete before you can move in!
  2. There is only one place on the online application to upload your pay stubs, even though 3 are required. This can be done 2 ways: you can either combine all 3 into 1 PDF document, or attach 1 pay stub to the application and email the rest directly to our office at apps@rennit.nyc. Don't worry, all your documents will end up in the same place!
  3. If you are self-employed, work freelance, or your income is just generally complicated, then complete as much as you can with the online application and email the rest of the proof of income documents directly to our office at apps@rennit.nyc.

If you do have a co-signer, the co-signer will need to complete two more steps:

Complete their own Guarantor online application with the following information.

  • Co-signer's Name
  • Social Security Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Current Address
  • Image of legal photo ID
  • Proof of last year's total income (W2,1099, Tax Return)

Please have your co-signer complete the Guarantor online application as soon as possible!

Guarantor Form for co-signing the apartment.

Once we get the complete Guarantor online application from your guarantor, we will email the Guarantor Form. Print the document and the guarantor will need to sign in the presence of a notary public. Finally, contact us for mailing instructions, mail the original signed document, and email a scanned copy to us. The signed Guarantor Form can be submitted up until you receive the keys - so do the online application first and then mail in the signed, notarized Guarantor Form second.
